Investing in our educators to better support every student.

BFT Local 434 is proud to celebrate the continued growth of trauma-informed practices across District 201. This year, 12 members completed a three-day trauma-informed training, and interest continues to grow as more educators seek opportunities to participate.

With six new trainers joining our team, Local 434 now has 12 trained facilitators ready to expand this important work. Planning is already underway to offer additional training cohorts, with staff members already signed up for future workshops.

We are also grateful for District 201's support in making this training possible by providing substitute coverage and sponsoring lunches for participants at the IFT Fairview office.
