Members gathered to honor dedicated educators, recognize years of service, and celebrate the lasting impact of those who have shaped our schools and union.

BFT Local 434 was proud to host this year's Retirement and Service Recognition Luncheon, bringing members together to celebrate the careers, accomplishments, and dedication of our colleagues.

The afternoon was emceed by Adam Jenkins and Tyler Herron, whose humor and heartfelt remarks helped make the celebration both meaningful and memorable. Local 434 President Ashley Mims welcomed guests and reflected on the importance of recognizing the educators and school employees whose service has made a lasting difference in our schools and community.

Throughout the program, attendees enjoyed presentations, skits, and tribute videos that celebrated the careers and contributions of this year's retirees. Each story served as a reminder of the countless lives our members have touched through their dedication to students, families, and public education.

A special thank you goes to Brandon Hentze for leading the planning of this year's luncheon and helping create an event worthy of celebrating our members' years of service.

Congratulations to our Local 434 retirees. Your impact on students, families, colleagues, and our union will be felt for years to come. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to public education and for the legacy you leave behind.

The celebration also recognized members reaching career milestones, from their very first year in education through 30 years of service. Every stage of an educator's journey brings unique challenges, growth, and achievements, and we are proud to celebrate each chapter alongside our members.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's luncheon a success and to all of our members for the passion, professionalism, and dedication you bring to our schools every day.
