The American labor movement fights to ensure that all workers are treated with dignity, and not exploited by those who profit from the fruits of our labor.Throughout the history of the labor movement, many have fought, and some have even died, for the rights and working conditions that many working Americans enjoy today, such as the 8-hour work day, the weekend, workplace safety standards, overtime pay, sick days, and more.
