East Campus Rep, Michelle Watts

 I have been a dedicated science teacher at Belleville East since 2004.  Prior to teaching, I trained students and community members through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to be citizen scientists.  My love of working with students led me to a career in teaching.  I have been an active member of the Local BFT 434 Executive Council since 2017, serving on various committees, including elections.  In 2022, I was elected to be East Campus Building Rep.  I am a proud union member and enjoy working with the membership.  I am looking forward to continuing to serve as a union building rep, and I am excited to contribute to the growth and strength of our union.
