Delegate, Annette Whitaker

I have been a paraprofessional on the East Campus for almost 30 years.  I have worked in every area of Special Education.  I am currently working as a classroom assistant in Cross Categorical Math.  I have served as the campus for the past 7 or 8 years; I served on the last contract committee.   This past July I had the opportunity to attend the National AFT Convention in Houston, I learned a great deal about the AFT and amazing people that fight for all of the benefits that we have.  I am looking forward to the next convention, if given the opportunity to attend again. 

I am married to my husband Ron, we recently celebrated our 39 wedding anniversary.  We have 2 amazing children and 2 grandchildren.  We live in Shiloh and I am very active at my church.  I love to sew and read.
